I have stopped by Delta Zeta’s Teeter-Totter-A-Thon the last couple of days. I am a huge fan of social causes and I hope they were successful. I even entered to win some of their raffle prizes and picked up a “friendship” bracelet (nice touch ladies).
A little about the event itself:
“Every Spring semester, the Xi Lambda Chapter of Delta Zeta hosts its annual philanthropy event called Teeter Totter A Thon. During the course of this event the our sisters take shifts to teeter totter on sea-saws in the main plaza of the campus for a total of 48 hours. The chapter hosts a barbecue, concerts and raffle during Teeter Totter A Thon. The proceeds are donated to the Speech and Hearing Center of Northern California. To find out more about Xi Lambda at USF, check out our website at http://www.deltazetausf.com/index.html.”
